2023 is set to be a great year for movies and TV shows, and with platforms such as Amazon Prime and Netflix, these have never been so popular. Everyone’s binge-watching, and when the stuff we’re binge-watching contains these 30 hot male actors under 30 in 2023, it’s not very hard to see why.

1 – Liam Hemsworth

27 year old Liam Hemsworth may be under 30, but he’s got a career that any budding actor would be envious of. It was Neighbours that saw his rise to fame, seeing Liam playing the part of Josh Taylor in the Australian soap, and that’s where this actor started his journey. He was born in Melbourne, before moving to California to follow his dreams. You may, of course, remember this Hemsworth brother from his part in the Hunger Games movies – he plays the part of Gale, Katniss’ best friend / other love interest.

It doesn’t appear that Liam has any movies coming out in 2023, but you may be surprised to learn that he is vegan, and apparently the engagement with singer, Miley Cyrus, is back on! (Shame!)

2 – Zac Efron

Zachary David Alexander Efron (his full name), was born in California, and is now well known to be both an actor and a singer. It was the High School Musical franchise that shot him to super stardom, and he’s also gone on to star in a string of big hits – Dirty Grandpa in 2016 was super hilarious, and if you haven’t seen Neighbors, or Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, you definitely should!

There are three movies out in 2023 starring this young Hollywood hunk – The Greatest Showman, The Disaster Artist, and the eagerly awaited Baywatch, in which he will star alongside “The Rock” – Dwayne Johnson.

3 – Taylor Lautner

He’s everyone’s favourite werewolf, but 25 year old Taylor has been spreading his wings (or fur) since the end of the Twilight movies. Not just an actor these days, but a model and a martial artist also, he ranked top of the sexiest men polls in a number of magazine in the later part of the 2000’s, and in 2010 he was known to be the hugest-paid teenager in Hollywood.

There are no movies out in 2023 starring this hunk, but we’d definitely recommend watching the Twilight movies again! We miss them!

4 – Tom Holland

Date of Birth: June 1st, 1996

A dancer and an actor, Thomas Stanley Holland, better known as Tom Holland, is best known for his recent big performance in the 2023 hit, Spider-Man: Homecoming. He played the leading role of Spiderman / Peter Parker in the movie, and he also played the same part in the 2016 hit, Captain America: Civil War.

The next year or so will see no fewer than four movies starring this up-and-coming Hollywood hunk, the newest Spider-Man movie being just one of them. You should definitely keep your eyes peeled for The Current War and Pilgrimage in 2023, and also Avengers: Infinity War, which we’re all eagerly awaiting for 2023.

5 – Ryan Guzman

This American actor is 29 years old (so only just allowed in the under-30’s club), but you may recognised him from the Step Up series of movies – he played the part of Sean Asa.

Most recent movies include Everybody Wants Some!! and Beyond Paradise in 2016, and you may also have spotted him in Pretty Little Liars, and the TV series, Notorious, in the lead role.

6 – Tristan Wilds

You may recognise Tristan Wilds from the recent Adele video – “Hello”. He was the star in that, but that’s not all 27 year old Tristan is known for. Some may know him as Mack Wilds, the recording artist, and others will know him as Dixon Wilson from the teen drama for CW, 90210. He was also in The Wire, and has starred in a number of movies, but it would seem that music is the way forward for this starlet. He signed a 2016 deal with music label, Roc Nation, after releasing his debut studio album in 2013.

7 – Alex Pettyfer

Not just an actor, but a model also, Alex Pettyfer is 26 years old and was originally born in Hertfordshire, England.  It was the 2006 movie, Stormbreaker, that saw his rise to fame, and in that he played the part of Alex Rider – the main character. Since then his modelling career has taken off, appearing in shoots for the likes of Burberry and other big fashion names, and he was also cast at the part of the Beast in the Beastly modernised remake. Let’s not forget about that 2010 Magic Mike appearance too …

There are three movies in pre-production for release in 2023, and they all star this English Hollywood hunk under the age of 30 – Back Roads, The Strange Ones, and The Last Witness. If you wanted something to watch right now, the 2016 movie, Elvis & Nixon isn’t a bad watch!

8 – Jonny Weston

You may not know American actor, Jonny Weston, but he’s been in a serial of hit movies that you definitely will know of. Most recently you will have spotted him in The Divergent Series: Insurgent from 2015, and Allegiance from 2016. He also popped up in Taken 3 in 2014, and also the 2012 movie, Chasing Mavericks. There are two movies coming out soon, although the release dates are set to be confirmed, and these are Any Tom, Dick, or Harry, and Beyond Skyline, which promises to be a really good watch!

9 – Alexander Ludwig

You amy remember Alexander Ludwig as Cato from The Hunger Games in 2012, but he’s been in a string of movies since then, and before that too. His first movie was back in 2000, when helped an uncredited part in Air Bud: World Pup, and then the 2004 film, MXP: Most Xtreme Primate. Thankfully, he’s gone on to star in a few things you HAVE heard of, and these include Grown Ups 2, and more importantly, currently starring in the History Channel hit, Vikings, which is currently in the process of filming for the fifth season – 20 new episodes!

10 – Tyler Hoechlin

He might look like an older actor, but Tyler Hoechlin is only 29 years old, despite the impressive roles he’s got under his belt. He’s an American actor who first shot to stardom when he appeared in the 2002 movie, Road to Perdition. There was Teen Wolf for MTV also, and 7th Heaven, and recently, CW cast him in Supergirl as Superman. We think he fits the bill very well!

Tyler is actually going to be in Fifty Shades Freed, due out in 2023, but you can continue to see him in Supergirl.

11 – Logan Lerman

American actor, Logan Lerman, is just 25 years old, born in Beverly Hills. He didn’t start off in movies or TV, first appearing in various commercials as a youngster, and it was the 2004 movie, The Butterfly Effect, that you may remember seeing him in first. He was also in What Women Want in 2000, Gamer in 2009, The Perks of Being a Wallflower in 2012, and also Indignation most recently in 2016. He was also the executive producer for this movie.

You will see him in this year’s Sidney Hall, in which Logan plays the executive producer again, and also the lead role. You will find a number of other stars in this soon-to-be-hit, including Elle Fanning and Kyle Chandler.

12 – Aaron Taylor Johnson

What will you have seen Aaron Taylor Johnson in? Well, there was Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, seeing him play the part of Quicksilver. Who could forget him playing the lead role in the Kick-Ass movies also? He first starting his acting career aged just 6, and he’s gone from strength to strength over the years. When you consider he’s only 26 years old, he sure has achieved a lot.

You may have spotted Aaron recently in the 2016 movie, Nocturnal Animals, a movie that won a host of awards. Aaron won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for that movie, and he was even nominated for a BAFTA too. We hope 2023 brings him the same success, especially with the movie, The Wall. This American war film also stars John Cena, and we predict it will make for gripping viewing.

13 – Josh Hutcherson

Can you believe that Josh Hutcherson is only 24 years of age? No, we couldn’t either, but it’s true. The Hollywood hunk that has appeared in movies such as The Polar Express, The Hunger Games, Red Dawn, and Bridge to Terabithia. Not bad for the kid who once popped up in ER and House Blend! Oh, and you may have spotted him in the music video for “Middle” by DJ Snake feat. Bipolar Sunshine too.

2023 sounds like it might be a good year for this hot male actor under 30, and The Long Home is due for release, as well as The Disaster Artist. We’re quite excited for the latter, also starring James Franco, Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, and Sharon Stone!

14 – Corey Hawkins

Corey Antonio Hawkins, or just Corey Hawkins as many of us know him as, is an actor that sprung to fame after bagging himself roles in The Walking Dead, and then Straight Outta Compton, playing the infamous Dr. Dre. His career has gone from strength to strength since then, and he also bagged himself the lead role in 24: Legacy, playing Eric Carter. And, as if there wasn’t enough good news on the horizon, you’ll also see Corey in the soon -to-be-released movie, Kong: Skull Island.

15 – Colton Haynes

He might only be 28 years of age, but that hasn’t stopped Colton Haynes from making his mark. Not just an actor, but a model too, you’ll more than likely recognise him from Teen Wolf, but you can’t forget about the Arrow TV series also – he played Arsenal / Roy Harper in that.

He started life out as a model, aged just 15, and it was with Abercrombie & Fitch that he first made his name. Moving on to the likes of Ralph Lauren and J. C. Penney, he then earned himself an uncredited role in Transformers, back in 2007. From then came CSI: Miami, and also The Hills, and before Robert Pattinson got the part, he even auditioned for the role of Twilight’s Edward Cullen.

16 – John Boyega

At just 24 years of age, John Boyega can boast of an impressive career. It was the 2015 movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, that first put him in the public spotlight – he played the part of Finn. He also appeared in four episodes of 24: Live Another Day – not bad from the young lad from Peckham in South London!

He’s been a very busy young actor recently, and there are a string of movies coming out in 2023 and beyond. You should keep your eyes peeled for The Circle, a movie that will see John Boyega playing alongside Emma Watson and Tom Hanks, and also Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Pacific Rim: Uprising in 2023.

17 – Nat Wolff

Considering he’s only 22 year of age, Nat Wolff has held an impressive array of jobs in his lifetime, and as well as classing himself as an actor, he’s also a musician and a singer-songwriter also. In fact, some may remember him more for his musical talents than his acting skills.

His father was jazz pianist, Michael Wolff, and his mother was an actress – Polly Draper. It could almost have been predicted that he was to make his mark in the world of show business, and that’s something he’s definitely done. It was when he composed the music for The Naked Brothers Band between 2007 and 2009 that he gained musical recognition, and from this his film career has also grown impressively.

18 – Evan Ross

In case you wondered where you’d noticed the name before, Evan Ross is actually the 28 year old son of Diana Ross – singer from the Supremes. With a name like that behind you, you know this kid is going to be talented, and it’s both music and acting that he’s chosen to get into.

He first debuted his acting skills in the 2006 movie, ATL, and from then he has gone on to star in According to Greta in 2009, and The Hunger Games – Mockingjay – Part 1 in 2014. You may also have spotted him in 90210, and also in the charts – he has released two singles, albeit a few years apart. There is one movie due out in 2023 starring Evan Ross, and that is currently in the process of being filmed – Bucket Road.

19 – Ryan Lee

This American actor is only 20 years old, but is well known for his part to play in the TV shows, Trophy Wife and even the movie, Super 8. In the latter, Ryan played the part of Cary. You may have spotted him in a music video too. It was the song “Titanium” by David Guetta, and we loved it!

20 – Jake T. Austin

22 year old Jake T. Austin has been in the business since he was seven years of age, first appearing in Disney Channel’s The Wizards of Waverly Place, playing the part of Max Russo. It’s not just TV shows that he’s been spotted in over the years though – he played the voice of Fernando in the 2014 movie, Rio 2. There are also two films coming out in the next year or so starring this cute little face – Teen Titans: The Judas Contract and The Valley.

21 – Dylan O’Brien

Not just an actor but a musician also, Dylan O’Brien has been seen in TV shows such as Teen Wolf, and also movies like The Maze Runner (and its sequel). The third part of this trilogy is set to be released over 2023/18, along with another movie currently in post-production – American Assassin. He’ll play the lead role in the latter, alongside Hollywood greats like Michael Keaton, and also Taylor Kitsch.

22 – Nicholas Hoult

This English actor is very well-known for his child-star days, appearing in About a Boy with Hugh Grant. He’s grown up a lot since then, and has no only dated Jennifer Lawrence, but also landing the role of Beast in the X-Men movies, and also the British E4 drama – Skins.

There are FIVE movies coming out in 2023 starring this Hollywood hottie, and they are Rebel in the Rye, Newness, Collide, Sand Castle, and The Current War. He certainly has been busy lately!

23 – Steven R. McQueen

28-year old Steven R. McQueen is a model as well as an actor, but you’ll probably remember him more from The Vampire Diaries, in which he played the part of Jeremy Gilbert. From then he went on to spend a year in Chicago Fire, and he then had a smaller part in Chicago P.D. He has had a few film stints, most recently Piranha 3D, but it seems he’s been relatively quiet of late.

For the record, Steven R. McQueen’s grandfather is the legendary Steve McQueen!

24 – Michael Angarano

29 year old Michael Angarano is said to star in American Express in 2023, an action film also starring Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Thandie Newton, and Joel Edgerton. You may not know of this young actor, but he has definitely played his part in a great deal of films, and some of them include The English Teacher, Red State, Empire State, and more.

Not just content with having a movie career, Michael has also appeared in a string of hit TV shows, and some of the many you’ll find him pop up in include ER, Will & Grace, Drunk History, and 24.

25 – Michael Cera

We have loads of love for the geeky kids, and Michael Cera plays the geeky parts in movies so very well. The 28 year old musician and actress was born in Canada – Ontario, to be precise, and he’s been in the business for a while, starting things off as a child star. Back then, in 2002, it was Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and his role of Chuck Barris, that shot him to fame, and he’s gone on to star in such delights as Juno in 2007, Superbad in the same year, and a whole host more. There are a mass of TV shows too, and just in 2023, Michael is said to be appearing in the up and coming Twin Peaks show. That’s alongside a movie too – Molly’s Game – which will also star both Idris Elba and Kevin Costner.

26 – Daniel Radcliffe

We can’t forget about Women in Black too – those two movies were actually quite scary ones, and definitely worth a watch if you fancy a fighting evening.

There is just one movie out in 2023 starring Daniel, and that is Jungle, an Australian adventure film. Moving on from that, into 2023 and beyond, you’ll spot him in Beast of Burden, The Modern Ocean, We Do Not Forget, and Young Republicans.

27 – Tyler Posey

25 year old Tyler Posey is well known for his part in the MTV series, Teen Wolf, which saw the rise of many a young American star. In case you wondered where the recognisable name came from, it’s because his father is the writer and actor, John Posey. Just a random fun fact for you!

After appearing in the 2002 movie, Collateral Damage, he’s had great success in both TV and film, and has since gone on to star in Maid in Manhattan, and more recently. Scary Movie 5. Yes, Robbie Amell is related to Stephen Amell, in case you were wondering. They are “first cousins”. That aside, there’s plenty of 2023 stuff to keep your eyes peeled for if you want a little more Robbie Amell action – The Babysitter and When We First Met are two films to check out.

29 – Nico Tortorella

You may first have spotted him in the 2011 movie, Scream 4, but there has been a number of TV shows also – Younger, Make It or Break It, and The Following. It seems he’s ben a little quiet recently, but he has launched a podcast.

30 – Hunter Parrish

He’s only just in the under-30-club, at 29 years of age and time running out fast, but Hunter Parrish is a singer and an actor that was shot to fame in the TV show, Weeds. Not just into TV acting, Hunter has also had great success in Broadway.

If you need a little bit of Hunter in your life for 2023, there are a couple of movies you should keep your eyes peeled for – Escape School and All Nighter. You can also see him as a recurring character in the TV show, Quantico.
